For the longest time, live concerts has been cast in the same mould. The fear of “making mistakes”, or being criticized for not honouring the composer, score or audience, has stopped artists from experimenting with form and expressions.


Change is here. Through working with artists in dialogue, we aim to help bring something new to their art, looking beyond the traditional boundaries. Tradition is not bad or a problem, but it should not be used to limit us.


Why not take a hint from theatre where you happily edit the scripts of Shakespeare or Molière, omit scenes or let the characters change gender to shape the story you want to tell?


Sacrilegious? No. We have forgotten how the old masters would borrow melodies from each other, transcribe or make variations on each other's music. It was considered an honour, not theft.


It's time to free up the art and let it breathe.
